Richard Struk, Owner & Coach
Born and raised in Poland, Richard was trained from an early age in the art and sport of fencing.
As a young man Richard attended the prestigious Polish Sports Academy and competed throughout Europe. He
came to the US in the 1980s and currently owns and operates Oconomowoc Motor Works. Several years ago
Richard returned to the competitive fencing and began teaching fencing at local schools, YMCAs, and colleges. Richard has introduced hundreds of people of all ages to fencing. He provides lessons and coaching in all three weapons with his favorite being saber.
Richard and WFA members are available for demonstrations. If your club or group (i.e. school, scouts, youth groups, parent groups) is interested in a fencing demonstation, please call Karen, the Club Assistant (262.751.5284) regarding the fee schedule. Fencing demos are also great fun at birthday parties especially if you are looking for something out of the ordinary.

Beginner's classes are for anyone who is age 9 or over ( You are never too old to start. Many of WFA's members started or came back to fencing in their 30's, 40's and older. Fencing is truly a life long sport!) Group classes are $96 for eight, 1 1/2 hour sessions for a total of 12 hours. All equipment is provided. All you need to wear is comfortable clothing and smooth-soled tennis shoes. Minimum of 10 students needed for class to run. Individual classes are $350 for ten 1-hour sessions or twenty 1/2-hour sessions for a total of 10 hours. Complete and bring the Registration Form with to the first class.
